I also had a cherry eye removed ( Cherry eye in dogs, also known as prolapse of the gland of the third eyelid, occurs when the gland within the third eyelid pops out of its normal position. This gland, which contributes to tear production, becomes visible as a reddish, swollen mass in the corner of the eye). Now you can see my beautiful eyes!
