Odin's Story

HUMANITARIAN ADOPTION

Meet Odin. He is a beautiful Labrador mix with a big heart and contagious joy for life. After spending his early years roaming free, Odin had to learn what it means to be a companion dog, and he has made tremendous progress since arriving in his forever home.
Odin has now spent time in a home and has adapted very well. He is house-trained, walks on a leash, and has continued his training successfully. However, he can still be nervous in new environments, but with time, patience, and a gentle approach, he adapts well and quickly gains confidence.
Odin loves people, seeks contact, and greatly enjoys being petted. He lights up when surrounded by his humans and loves sharing moments of companionship with them.
Play is an integral part of his daily life. Odin enthusiastically chases toys, jumps, leaps, and fully expresses his boundless energy. He also enjoys spending time outdoors, whether playing in a yard or simply enjoying the fresh air.
When it comes to training, Odin continues to learn and is progressing well. He is very motivated by food, which makes training easier, and he already understands basic commands such as “sit” and “lie down.” His desire to please, combined with his enthusiasm, makes him an excellent candidate to continue his training and strengthen the bond with his future family.
Health-wise, Odin has been diagnosed with hip dysplasia, but he currently has no symptoms. However, long-term monitoring will be necessary, and care may be required if signs appear. He is currently receiving daily joint supplements. He has also tested positive for Lyme disease, but remains asymptomatic and does not require treatment at this time.
Odin is now ready for his forever family. He is looking for a home that will appreciate his playful and affectionate temperament and continue to support him with kindness as he grows. If you are looking for a cheerful, curious, food-loving companion who is eager to please, Odin could be the perfect match for you.

ADOPTION HUMANITAIRE

Voici Odin.
