Odin Great Dane Fredericksburg, VA

Hi there! My name is Odin and I weigh about 120 lbs at around 8+ years old.
Are you ready for the goofiest, gentlest guy around?! Well, that's me! I love nothing more than being with my people - and sitting on them! I have tested well with cats and dogs (males I can be selective of if they try to challenge my warnings) . I just ask they are calmer as I am a very chill dude myself. That being said, I Do have a bit of a bark/reactive side when I'm outside and hear other dogs on the other side of the fence barking and on walks at times. If I want scratches, walks, or snuggles, I will let you know with my subtle whining which only lasts a second until I bark to get my way, soso sassy!
Going for short walks is more my style! I do very well on a leash. I am still learning that crate time isn't a bad thing - I just cry in it. I'm definitely a gentle sensitive soul.
My hips aren't too bad, only really when I wake up from naps.
Make sure you hide all your cheese cause I will find it and won't be sorry!
I will not be neutered due to my age, and that also means my stomach was never tacked.. thankfully I'm pretty lazy, even after eating. Although, I WILL rub my face all over you or everything after eating, or drinking. LOL.
I prefer calmer dogs, and I will let more active dogs and puppies know when they get too close while I am relaxing. I won't hurt them, I just try to keep them away with low growls and a snapping bark - as if to remind them .. HELLO HOW DO YOU NOT SEE THIS HORSE?!

We are a small based foster group who help dogs currently in VA, NC (more states soon) on death row find a second chance. Right now we will be running off of donations and fosters homes. So please be patient with us.

You may apply to adopt if you are in a state that surrounds VA state lines!

Adoption Contracts, and vet papers will be given at time of adoption. All dogs will be UTD on shots and spayed/neutered before going to their furever family!

All adoption fees are considered donations! We do not do refunds on donations.
