Odin's Story

Seven(ish)-year-old Odin loves to play just enough to keep life fun but is happiest being a couch potato by your side. He has been through a lot, but his heart is as loving as ever.

Odin came to us in rough shape. He was found as a stray, and we think someone dumped him.
When he was picked up, he was in incredible pain. He had one eye hanging out of the socket. He’s since had surgery on the eye and he is much, much healthier now. He’s gained weight and is enjoying time as a foster dog with two other canine buddies.
We recently got this note from Odin’s foster:

“Odin is that perfect age where he still wants to play a little bit, but he's also happy to be a couch potato. He's happy to be more of the beta dog. So the other dogs in the house are really in charge. He just takes cues from them on whether he can get on the couch and kind of what he needs to do. Odin is just happy to fall in line and be that sweet, steady, calming presence in the pack.”

Odin is house-trained and is great with other dogs. He hasn’t been around kids yet, but we think he’d do ok with kids too. Mr. Odin is simply the perfect, quiet, easy dog.

If your idea of a perfect companion is a low-key, loving friend, then Odin is your man.
