Odie's Story
Are you looking for a chill dude that is also a stud? Look no further because I’m your guy!! My foster mom says if I was a house, they would call me turn-key. I am ready for someone to take me home! But I don’t want to toot my own horn too much, so I’ll let my foster mom tell you how great I am;

'Odie is the sweetest boy! I’d describe him as an old soul who loves to be around his person. On the days we work from home, he spends his time napping by my feet or staring out the window. When we are away from the house, he spends his time napping on the landing waiting for us to come home so he can greet us with “kisses.” He is completely house trained. At night, he sleeps in a dog bed in the bedroom. He even likes to sleep in on the weekends! But he does more than just sleep. :) He enjoys going on walks and taking car rides. He will do just about anything for a piece of cheese. He doesn’t care much for toys, but loves a frosty paw or a Kong filled with a treat. He is very respectful when we are eating. He keeps his distance and never tries to take our food. Nothing in the house seems to bother him - vacuum, treadmill, blender, doorbell - he doesn't even bat an eye. But the most important thing to know about Odie is he is a sucker for a good belly rub.'

Since I like having the attention all to myself, I would need to be the only dog in the home. I have lived with cats and small children in the past and it was reported I did well with them. I am a catch aren't I? What are you waiting for? Come on down to the shelter and meet me. If you are in the market for a dog that will binge Netflix on the couch with you all weekend, but is also down for an occasional hike, I could be the pup for you!

Interested in adopting me? I am in a foster home so things need to be done a little differently. We recommend submitting a general online adoption application and then calling the shelter to let them know you are interested in meeting me!. Please note: all applications are considered general until the animal has been met. If you have any questions, please contact animalcenter@bmorehumane.org or 410-833-8848 Ext/Opt 2.
