Odie (78)'s Story
Odie was rescued from a 110+ dog plus hoarding situation in North Texas.

Odie, who is as good natured and orange cat-loving as his name sake, came into the rescue from the Heartland Hoarding situation and has proven himself to be the most goofy, loving, fun and gentle little guy (his handsome looks don't hurt either). He has made SO much socialization progress in just a short time and is ready to find his life-crew!

Leash trained, house trained and crate trained (although he can be crate anxious in a new environment, he does settle in a crate nicely after a few days and positive reinforcement/consistency)

A friend to all dogs and cats and great with kids, including the occasional toddler that wants to hug him during a walk đŸ˜†

Medium toy drive that is increasing all the time! He loves squeaky toys, will sporadically want to chase after a ball, and is obsessed with teaser toys

Can still be a little shy meeting strangers but warms up quickly. He loves head, body, belly scratches and has the cutest way of booping your hand to ask for more affection

LOVES walks!

Odie is currently being fostered in Houston, TX
