Odie 7YO Deaf 63 Pounds Kid & Dog Friendly Leash Trained Fostered in Bremerton, WA Hi, I’m Odie! As you can see in my description, I am deaf, don't let that stop you from reading the rest about me. I have a heart of gold, and my impairment doesn't slow me down a bit. My two favorite things are walks and snuggling. I am a very calm boy who just loves to be with my people! Because I am deaf, I prefer to have a dog friend so I’m not alone. Let me tell you some of the great things about me, I am great on my leash, great in the house when left alone with my dog friend, I don’t get into anything, I actually spend the time catching up on sleep! I need my new family to know that sometimes when I eat, I drop food on the floors, I'm not trying to be messy, it just happens. When I walk, I drag my paws, my nails tear and bleed sometimes, the vet says I have a neurological disorder so sometimes I stumble when I walk but I just keep on walking because it’s my favorite thing! My foster mom says I am a really good dog and very easy! I am looking for a family that can accept my little imperfections, wants to include me and be with me, where I can enjoy the life of luxury and have a buddy to pal around with. Northwest Boxer Rescue's Adoption Policy

We'd like to tell you about our Adoption Process. First, all of us at Northwest Boxer Rescue are volunteers and no one is paid. We do the best that we can to respond as timely as possible, but we also have dogs, children, spouses, jobs, families, and homes - just like you. So, please be patient with us. Completing an application is the first step in adopting a boxer from NWBR. We try to respond to the request as soon as possible and contact you by phone once we have received the application. Tell us what dog you are interested in on the application. We are glad to answer any questions you have. We want to get to know you and make sure the dog you adopt is the right wiggle butt, not just a dog. It is not only important that you will be happy with your new family member but that your new family member has found their perfect forever home.
