Odessa (aka “Dessie”) is a 6-1/2-year old, 70-pound pittie mix located in Dover, NH. This pretty brindle girl is also spayed and up-to-date on shots. Her happy places are trails, fields, and shady spots. She is such an incredible love to all humans. Please take a moment to read her story and her specific needs for the right home.

Odessa is strong, active, and muscular. She loves her daily walks, play time, car rides, and most of all, snuggle time! She gives the best kisses ever and is a champion butt wiggler.

Odessa originally came to our shelter as a stray; nothing is known about her background. She was then adopted out for a year, but her family was moving and unable to take her. Odessa has been waiting over 120 days for the right home...we know it is out there! She must go to a home with no other pets due to her animal reactivity. Her future adopter must be willing to understand her reactivity and that she must be on leash at all times when out walking.

Odessa must be the only animal in her home and no small children (16 and up is ok) as she is a very powerful player! She is not suited for apartment/condo living, but would thrive in a quiet, rural home setting with very little dog traffic. A fenced-in yard where she could run free would be a dream for her!
