Oden - Local Dec 19-21's Story

He Thought He’d Found His Forever Home… Until Yesterday ?
Returned After 1.5 Years
Oden’s story is a tough one. This sweet, beautiful boy was adopted from ARK about a year and a half ago and has spent nearly his entire life with one family. But yesterday, he was brought back to PetSmart — confused, heartbroken, and not understanding why he’s back in a crate after finally knowing what it feels like to have a home.
His former family had two small kids and simply didn’t have the time to give Oden the structure and consistency he needed. The good news is, they invested $4,000 in professional training that transfers directly to his new owner — a huge gift for whoever adopts him.
Oden is about a year and a half old, active, incredibly sweet, and shows no signs of aggression. He loves people and gets along well with other dogs. The reason he was returned? He ate some rocks in the yard and needed surgery to remove them — not an uncommon puppy mistake, but unfortunately, it was too much for his family to handle. Thankfully, he’s now completely healthy with no lingering issues.
This boy has already been through so much. He just needs one patient, loving family willing to give him the chance he deserves.

How to adopt?

Option #1 Some of our dogs will be pre-adopted.
