Obe's Story

For inquiries about Obe please connect directly with their owner, Noah, at 360-356-4705

Meet Obe - Looking for His Forever Home Born January 2, 2025 Obe is a loving, playful, and incredibly sweet dog looking for a home that can give him the time, patience, and attention he deserves. Obe is very people- and dog-friendly and loves being around his family. He absolutely loves to play outside, play with his toys, chew on his bones, and spend time with the people he loves. When he feels comfortable and secure, he is a very chill, happy boy. His biggest challenge is separation anxiety. Obe has never been crate trained and does not do well being shut in a kennel or confined space, especially when left alone. He can become very anxious when separated from his people. Because of this, he would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time and where his new family has the time and patience to work with him on building confidence and independence. Obe is not aggressive. His difficult behaviors come from anxiety rather than aggression. He is very trainable, eager to please, and responds well to attention and consistency. With the right person and continued training, I truly believe he has a lot of potential to overcome many of his anxious behaviors. He loves children, although because he is energetic and still young, he would benefit from continued training around them and supervision during play. Obe would thrive with someone who: Is home frequently or has a flexible schedule Has experience with or patience for an anxious dog Is willing to continue positive-reinforcement training Can provide daily exercise, play, and mental stimulation Will give him time to settle in and build confidence Ideally enjoys having a dog who loves companionship Obe is not a dog who should simply be left alone for long periods or placed in a crate and expected to adjust. He needs someone who understands that his anxiety will take patience and consistency. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and I want to make sure Obe goes to a loving, committed home that is truly the right fit for him. I am much more interested in finding the right family than finding the fastest placement. If you think Obe might be a good fit for your family, please reach out to my phone number via text at 360-356-4705 so we can see if you would be a good fit.
