You'd never guess what he'd been through by looking at him now. Every morning, Oatie wakes up like the world is brand new. He greets the day with zoomies, wiggles, and that contagious, tailwagging joy that makes you smile before you even realize it.<br/><br/>Oatie is a people pleaser through and through. He loves making his humans happy, and he'll try his absolute best at anything you ask of him — whether that's learning a new trick, settling down for rest, or simply flashing that big, goofy grin of his.<br/><br/>Oatie recently had knee surgery and has recovered beautifully. He's back to his fast-paced, playful self and is currently taking Dasuquin to support his joints. He's been with us for six months now, showing up every single day with the same happy, hopeful personality — but we know he deserves so much more than life in a shelter.<br/><br/>He does wonderfully with other dogs who can match his playful, high-energy style; he'd love a home with kids 12+ who can run, play, and keep up with his zest for life.<br/><br/>And if he seems like a little firecracker when you meet him, it's only because he already loves you.
