Oakley's estimated birth year is 2021. Oakley is a Shepherd who was surrendered to the rescue. She was not socialized when she was younger. Oakley needs an experienced owner!! She requires a very QUIET HOME!!! NO KIDS!!!! NEEDS TO BE THE ONLY ANIMAL AT 1ST to allow her to decompress in her new home. She has lived with another dog in her previous home and may be ok to live with another dog with a slow introduction after she has been allowed to decompress. Oakley absolutely loves to play with balls. Her forever home is required to have a totally enclosed physically fenced yard. Oakley is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, on heart worm preventative as well as house and crate trained. Oakley needs a very patient person/family who will work with her and show her how wonderful life can be. All dogs we rescue stay with us until they find their forever homes. We do not do same day adoptions. A home visit is required to ensure our dog is going to a safe environment and our dog gets along with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). We require all our dogs over the age of 1 year attend 1 obedience class (6 week session) outside the home. You must live within 1 hour of Birmingham, MI to adopt one of our dogs. No out of state or outside the U.S. adoptions or fosters. Oakley's adoption fee is $300. OAKLEY WOULD LOVE TO BE IN A FOSTER HOME WHILE SHE IS WAITING TO BE ADOPTED.
