Oakley's Story
Oakley is a great family dog, 4.5 years old, fully trained, and ready to be your couch buddy and hiking companion.

Oakley is easy going, not high energy, and good with kids, cats, and car rides.

When you're away from home, Oakley is trained to relax in his crate, and he grew up with another dog (female) as well as other dog friends in his extended family that he adored, so he can be placed with another dog of the right temperament match in his next home as well.

Oakley can be nervous with new dog introductions, so he has struggles with leash reactivity, and this is why apartment life is not ideal for him due to the increased and abrupt encounters many owners face in such environments.

Oakley is healthy, 72 lbs, and on a diet that works to prevent his previous allergies.

The reason for Oakley's re-homing is unfortunately due to his current owner having faced a job relocation out of the country.

Oakley comes with our lifetime behavior support and all his training tools, a cargo carrier for the car, bowls and food. Please reach out if interested in meeting Oakley, he is currently in San Diego, CA.

Our adoption application is located on the website - hope2k9.com, or you can message Cameron via the Foundation: cameron@hope2k9.com or 760-224-6556.
