Oakley's Story

Meet handsome Oakley, a fully trained and mature mixymutt in need of a loving family, with room to romp and a pack mate to play with. Oakley's ideal home would have a yard, a fur sister or brother, and somebody excited to continue the use of his commands and skills to support Oakley in a seamless transition.

Oakley is good with kids and dogs, crate trained, and good for car rides. He has been living with a female dog for the last four years that he loves, and was adopted by our organization in 2022 when he was still not yet a full grown pup. Oakley is healthy, 72 lbs, fully vetted and up to date on routine vaccines until May/June. While he does have some allergies that dictate the continuation of foods he tolerates, .

Sometimes Oakley needs slow introductions to new dogs because he can be nervous on leash when passing. While in his current home, Oakley has regularly been socialized with two other big male Labs as well as an 18 month old human. The reason for re-homing is unfortunately due to his current owner facing a job relocation out of the country.

Oakley comes with our lifetime behavior support and all his training tools, a cargo carrier for the car, bowls and food. Please reach out if interested in meeting Oakley, he is currently in Orange County and needs placement by mid February. Our adoption application is located on the website - hope2k9.com, or you can message Cameron via the Foundation: cameron@hope2k9.com or 760-224-6556.
