Oakley's Story

Oakley is a loveable and affectionate pup, who is great with kids, dogs, and most likely cats. He has been a quick study with our remote collar on and off-leash training program and can now walk politely on leash, wait at doorways, settle quietly in his crate, be respectful of resources, come when called, and place (down/stay) while he watches life go on around him.

Oakley is looking for a family to continue his training and lead him through life as he matures. He LOVES other dogs and would thrive in a home with a confident packmate as well. He can be nervous in new surroundings, as it’s evident Oakley was primarily an outdoor pup before coming to us, but through his training and the help of his confident friends here, he’s learning it’s pretty fun to be inside.

The first step for inquiring about Oakley is to submit an adoption application through www.hope2k9.com. Once we’ve received your application, then you will be connected with a team member to discuss the next steps.

Oakley’s adoption fee is $1200 due to him being fully vetted, neutered, professionally trained, and lifetime behavior support. All adoptions involve two 90 minute Go Home training sessions at one of our trainer’s locations before your dog goes home with you, and we send preparation materials regarding the command language, tools, and expectations for training maintenance in your home.
