Oakley's Story

Found as a stray in South Georgia, Oakley is fitting in at her foster home well. She is curious, energetic and friendly. Unsure about cats, she does get along with other dogs and is friendly when greeting new dogs. Oakley does prefer to be the boss, so a submissive male would be an ideal companion, if any. She would be a fantastic only pet as well. She is high energy and would be a good candidate for herding and sport activities. Frisbee is the current favorite. Oakley has been for some walks in town and does good on a leash. She has done well in a crate for short periods and overnight. She is a lean 35 pounds and needs to fill out, potentially about 45 pounds, She is estimated to be around a year old. She is not spayed and will be ready for her new home around mid - April due to spay surgery. She is located in foster just north of Jacksonville, FL. Please stay tuned for updated information as we get to know her better.
