Nyx's Story
If you’re looking for a dog that blends into dark furniture, will play until your arms fall off, lay at your feet while cooking dinner, then cuddle up with you and take a nap, Nyx might be who you’re looking for!

Nyx was a stray found at a busy intersection dodging traffic. It took 4 more days, but she finally came up to a human for help and love. She is an approx 8mo old black short haired retriever/German Shepard mix. While initially skittish, she warmed up quickly to her fosters full house of children, elderly persons, other dogs, and cats. We were amazed with how overall healthy this girl was! She has a beautiful solid back fur coat that pictures just do not capture the beauty of. She is a very loving, and adorably hyper puppy that needs a home with a backyard to run and play in, and a family that will dote on her, and play tug of war! She has done well with both large and small dogs, but will be very curious about a cat. With some continued training, she will be a perfect addition to a loving home! She will happily sit with you or follow you around as you complete your tasks throughout the day. Nyx currently sleeps in a kennel, as a puppy will puppy. She is fully housebroken, can use a doggy door, and is very treat motivated! Her foster is working hard on leash manners, commands, and what is OK to chew on. She would love a home that already has doggy friends to play with. Her favorite pastimes are playing with sticks, chewing on toys, playing in water, asking for pets, and napping. Nyx is fully vaccinated, spayed, and comes with endless love to give.

OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE.
