Nye's Story

**** better photos coming this week****
Nylabone Nancy was taken away from a woman whom " felt that she was rescuing animals" but rather was - well ; Hoarding......
The Sherriff's department was involved for the THIRD time and we were called (as well as several OTHER rescues) She was taking them from jeopardizing circumstances- but not following through on their vetting and other needs.

As my personal favorite dog breed is shepherds, I was called for her. She too was heart worm positive ( She and Bosco both commiserated in their treatment) We aren't shy about treating that- and we have wonderful veterinarians down south that help us in this notable task.

She is now tended to and successfully finished = with the treatments- ready to go home. We do not know if she is a liker lover or opponent of cats... but she does love all sizes of people and dogs as well !!!!!
She is currently crate trained and ready as she'll ever be She is sweet as a container of honey and just as smart as a schoolbook! She is a very fast learner and very quick on her feet.. she loves to please !!!!
She is Up to. date one all vaccines and spayed, micro-chipped. tested negative for fleas ticks mange, Giardia, coccidia and other hitch- hiking parasites. She is on preventative as well for all of that!

Many people mis understand the shepherd breed- they need FIRM AND FAIR training and treatment......But they also need boundaries and plenty of mental motivation as well as exercise!
INTERSTED : fill out an application at LittleRhodyRescue.org and Be sure to tell your veterinarian and references that We will be calling and that you consent to speaking with us.

**** We will also not call all applicants when the dog is adopted- we will take his/ her bio off line..**** Thank you
