NYDIA's Story

Meet Nydia! Nydia loves attention and to be touching you or in your lap. She is very strong in what she wants if it’s attention she will jump and put all her weight onto you. We are working on that. For that reason I would say she needs a home with teenagers and adults. She does pull hard on the leash but has gotten better with a pinch collar. She loves to play fetch. She plays rough with other dogs and toys but not in a mean way(so far) She knows to sit. We are working on other commands. She was a counter surfer but has gotten way better now. She still has accidents here and there. She needs to be taken out often therefore she’s gotten so much better. She does have separation anxiety. When initially going into the crate she will make circles and bark. She does better if we let the other dog stay near her and play dog mediation music. She is prey driven and does not like cats, goats or small animals. She seems ok around horses. Over all she is a cuddle bug who loves hard with her heart and needs attention:) I forgot 2 more things... She loves being outdoors, long walks and car rides:) From her current, loving foster family.
