My name is Nutmeg! I’m a 8-week-old female Pit mix with a bright little personality and a heart full of sweetness. My mom had me and my siblings while living as strays, but a Good Samaritan took us in, kept us safe, and helped us get ready for our forever homes. My foster mom describes me as playful, curious, and always ready for a mini adventure. I love exploring new things, investigating whatever catches my eye, and turning anything into a toy if you give me the chance. I’m a fun mix of spunky and sweet—happy to play, discover, and then curl up close for some love. Since I’m still so young, I’m super adaptable and can thrive in just about any home—whether it includes kids, other pets, or if I get to be your one and only little buddy. I haven’t been vetted just yet, so right now I’m available as a local foster-to-adopt. That means you get to bring me home, love me, and help me grow while the rescue covers all of my vetting. Ruff Road Revival's Adoption Policy

The first step to the adoption process is filling out our adoption application online. We then do a vet check and check character reference, followed up by reaching out to the potential adopter to answer any questions they may have. If they are still interested at that point, we have the foster reach out to them so that they can get a better feel for if it is the right fit both for the adopter and for the animal. This also gives the potential adopter a chance to either set up a meet and greet with the animal if they are local or video chat with the animal to see their personality if they are out of state. If they are local, the next step would be a meet and greet and if that goes well, they would sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee and take the animal home. If they are out of state and decide to move forward with adoption, they will then sign the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. We will schedule the transport and send all information to the potential adopter. The animal will receive a health certificate prior to transport and the adopter will be added to a group chat during the transport process.
