Nutmeg's Story

This little gal is Nutmeg.
Nutmeg and what is thought to be her mother were left abandoned in a trash filled back yard when their family moved out.
Once neighbors realized this, they called for help. Probably not a moment too soon! What rescuers quickly learned about this quiet shut down dog is that the other dog left with her was a bully to Nutmeg. Not only was she a bully but she was physically harming this littlest Nut.
That’s when it was decided to separate these two and try to bring this little one out of her shell.WOW, did it ever!
Nutmeg totally transformed from a shy scaredy always hanging back, never trying to interact to a happy friendly playful snuggly love bug! She’s tapping her toes wherever she goes like Betty Lou in a new pair of shoes!
She can understandably be a little shy at first but she up quickly.
She loves to be held in a way that she can rest her head on you.
The ideal home for her will have another playful dog in a setting more on the quiet side. Small children may prove to be too much for her so the home we’re looking for will have kids over 12yrs old only.
She is also doing a great job working on her housebreaking skills. Besides needing a fenced yard, she’ll need a little training and patience to help push her over the puppy training finish line.
Nutmeg is vaccinated, heartworm tested, microchipped, and spayed.
If you’re looking for years of snuggles and love, as well as the countless smiles she will bring to your life, then fill out an application today at Bubbasstationrescue.org
PET FINDER “INQUIRIES” are not considered applying to adopt.
You must fill out an applications to be considered.
