Nutmeg's Story

We made room at the inn just before Christmas! It was just past midnight and this little girl and another dog had just arrived. Many thanks to the rescue angels involved in getting her safely to Dogwood. Little Nutmeg was very pregnant when she came from a shelter after being removed from a situation of rampant breeding. Not intentional, just lack of resources and no knowledge of how fast one dog becomes ten, and ten becomes 30, and 30 becomes hundreds. Nutmeg is about 10 pounds now that she's had her two adorable pups, Jonny & Lindy. We're guessing her between 1-2 years old. Her pups will be available separately at 8 weeks after weaning. Nutmeg will be available after weaning, spay and medical clearance.

Applications at:

http://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/adoption-application-dogs/

You can follow us on social media at:

https://.www.instagram.com/dogwoodanimalrescue/
https://.www.facebook.com/.DogwoodAnimalRescue/

Making a difference, one animal at a time.
