Nutmeg's Story
Nutmeg: Big Heart, Big Wiggles
Meet Nutmeg, a 6-week-old mixed breed male who is already living large—literally! At a solid 10 pounds, he’s a "beefy" boy with a sturdy build and a heart to match. While he might have a more classic look compared to his sisters' flashy coats, he makes up for it with soulful eyes that speak volumes and a personality that outshines everyone in the room.
Personality Plus
Nutmeg is confidence personified. He isn't the least bit shy; in fact, he is the official greeter of the litter. When his Foster Mom walks into the room, he’s the first one there, his whole body wiggling with pure excitement at the prospect of being held.
He is a lover through and through. He specializes in:
• Top-tier Snuggling: He melts into you.
• Kisses: Generous and frequent.
• Socializing: He absolutely adores his foster dog siblings. Even though they are 10 times his size, he isn't phased one bit—he thinks he's just one of the big guys!
A Special Note
Nutmeg wants his future family to know everything about him upfront. He has been diagnosed with cataracts (at least in one eye).
"I’m not sure what that means as I thought I was a dog, but Mom said it has nothing to do with cats! So far, it hasn’t stopped me from playing, wiggling, or finding my way into your lap."
This condition hasn't slowed him down a second, but it is something his adopter will need to monitor.
Stats & Details
• Age: 6 weeks old
• Sex: Male
• Breed: Mixed Breed
• Current Weight: 10 lbs (The "Beefy" Brother)
• Vibe: Confident, Wiggly, Affectionate
Nutmeg is looking for a family who can see past a medical note and see the amazing, loving, confident puppy right in front of them. He promises to be the best boy you’ve ever had.

Adoption fee: $500 (includes vaccines to date, microchip, and neuter)
Apply at www.lakesideanimalrescue.com
