Nutmeg's Story

Meet Nutmeg, a sweet little scruffy terrier mix with the most endearing face and a charming brown-and-white tousled hairdo. His soft eyes and gentle spirit make him impossible not to love.
Nutmeg has a tender, slightly nervous nature and thrives in calm, predictable environments. He enjoys peaceful walks with his small dog friends and appreciates a human companion who understands the importance of patience and respecting his space and boundaries. Loud or busy settings can feel overwhelming for him, but given time and kindness, Nutmeg begins to relax and show his true self. Once he feels safe, Nutmeg blossoms into a quiet little sweetheart. He'll gently lean into you for affection, soaking up soft pets and companionship from someone he trusts. Watching his confidence grow is incredibly rewarding.
Nutmeg would do best in a quiet home where he can decompress at his own pace. A calm routine and a patient adopter will help him feel secure and loved. He may also enjoy having a well-matched canine friend who can show him the ropes and keep him company. If you're looking for a gentle companion and have the heart to give a shy pup the time he needs to shine, Nutmeg might be your perfect match.
