Nuke's Story
Meet Nuke

Nuke is a 1-year-old bundle of energy who came to the shelter with his brother, Thor, after their owner was moving and could no longer keep them. While they arrived together, Nuke and Thor are looking for separate homes and will not be adopted together. We believe both boys will thrive much more when given the opportunity to grow, learn, and receive individual attention on their own.

Nuke is still very much a young dog with lots to learn! He has plenty of energy and would do best with someone ready to give him exercise, structure, and consistent training. He is not currently potty trained, so his new family will need to be patient while helping him learn the ropes of living in a home.

He has never lived with cats or small children, so we don't know how he would do with either. If there is another dog in the home, a meet and greet is required before adoption.

Nuke is recently neutered, vaccinated, and ready to start fresh.

He's spent about 30 days in the shelter without anyone showing interest. At only a year old, that's a lot of time spent growing up in a kennel.

Nuke doesn't need to go home with his brother. He needs a home of his own. A person or family who will give him the individual attention, training, stability, and love he needs to become the dog we know he can be.
