Nugget's Story

Hi there! My name is Nugget.

I'm a 2-year-old Heeler mix with a big smile and a very sweet heart. I'm currently looking for my forever home, and I'm hoping it might be with you!

I am what my foster mom calls "The Total Package." I am fully house-broken and crate-trained. You don't have to worry about accidents with me! I'm polite, I listen well, and I'm ready to settle right into your routine.

I'm a happy girl, but I'm not a "wild child." My foster family says I'm not hyper like some other herding dogs-I'm just a very sweet, manageable girl who loves to be loved. True to my breed, I do have some herding instincts, so I like to keep an eye on things! It doesn't matter if you have a fence, I can climb those with no problem!

Kids: I have lived with a small child before and we got along great!

Dogs: New dogs make me a little nervous. I'm never aggressive-just socially awkward! I tend to avoid other dogs because I'm not quite sure what to do with them yet. With slow introductions, I can learn to coexist (I'm currently hanging out with two other dogs, Sugah and Atlas, and doing fine!).

Cats: I haven't met any yet, so that's a mystery!

If you're looking for a loyal, well-behaved, and incredibly cute companion, I'm your girl. Let's meet!
