Nugget

Hi, my name is Nugget! I came to the shelter in December of 2025. I love people and am very affectionate, I love belly rubs and will rub my whole body on you like a cat to get some pets. Despite my size, I think I would make a pretty good lap dog. I can be vocal when meeting new people, which I am working on, but I really just want them to come pet me! I like other dogs, and like to play and roughhouse, but I'm too much to play with cats, so I think I'd like a home without them. I am very smart, too, and learn very quickly. I'm super food motivated and will do anything for a treat. <br/><br/>If you come to see me- and I really hope you do- you might have to ask for me by name. I'm so tall that when I jump up, I can reach the top of the walk-in kennels! So, I might be in my special accommodations- where I can't reach to get out of.
