Meet Nubs — 16 pounds of pure joy wrapped up in one adorable little Chihuahua mix! At just around 2 years old, Nubs still has that fun-loving puppy spirit. He’s always ready for a game of fetch, a zoomie session around the yard, or a long walk to explore the neighborhood. Don’t let his small size fool you — this little guy can play until he can’t play anymore! The good news is, a nice, long walk will happily tire him out and leave him ready for some quality cuddle time. Nubs got his name from his irresistibly cute little nubby tail, which wiggles with excitement whenever he sees his favorite people. And if you happen to have a Ritz cracker in hand? You’ve just made a best friend for life. Ritz crackers are his all-time favorite treat, and he will do absolutely anything for a bite — sit, spin, dance… you name it! He’s a social butterfly who gets along wonderfully with other dogs and even cats, so he’d fit right in with a multi-pet household or be perfectly happy soaking up all the attention as your one-and-only. Nubs’ story began during a terrible rainstorm in Puerto Rico, when he was found out in the harsh weather. Thankfully, he was rescued by our incredible team and kept safe and dry. When no one came to claim him, it became clear that his next chapter was waiting to be written. Now he’s ready to make his debut on the East Coast and find the loving forever home he truly deserves.
