Nubs's Story

Hai! I am Nubs (a.k.a. Nubbies, Nub-elstiltskin, little man, Hoverboard).

As you can see, there is a reason why they call me Nubs. I was born with no back feet! But don't let that fool you. I may be different, but I can still hang with the pack! I'm a typical puppy, who loves to play hard and nap even harder. I get along great with my foster dog brother, and also love the resident cats! The cats don't love me as much as I love them, but we all coexist great together.

I love all bones and chew toys! I love them! They are the absolute best! Now that it's getting warmer out, my foster family and I have been hanging out outside more, and I've been so happy laying on my bed chewing on sticks or sunbathing with my foster brother.

I'm potty trained, and know "sit", "down", "high five", "kennel" "on your bed". I'm currently working on not barking at people or other dogs while I'm in my yard.

My foster humans have taken me on a few adventures at breweries, and I've been so good! I can be shy when meeting new people, but warm up quickly and love giving kisses or showing off my tricks. I also get along great with other dogs and kids. Everyone is my friend!

My forever home should be aware that I will need continued care for my back nubs. Once I am fully grown, prosthetics, booties or a cart/wheelchair may be a great option for me! For now, my foster family wraps them up to keep them protected. I'm much more comfortable walking that way! Sometimes I even balance on my two front legs to walk! I'm a really funny puppy. Won't you make room in your heart and home for me??

Love love love,

Nubbs
