NOVA's Story

Nova's foster shared, Miss Nova is a ~45 lb bundle of love, energy, and cuddles who has been thriving in her foster home for almost a month. She truly is the sweetest girl and loves everyone she meets, be prepared for lots of kisses and snuggle time! Nova does great with other dogs and doesn’t bother cats at all, making her a wonderful fit for a multi-pet home. She’s affectionate, social, and almost always carrying around one of her favorite stuffed toys -- they’re her comfort item. When playtime is over, she’s more than happy to curl up and cuddle with her people. (Be prepared for her to snore louder than you!) Nova was born congenitally missing some tarsal bones in her back legs, but it does not slow her down one bit. She loves to run, play, and explore. She is also deaf, which means she’s not bothered by loud noises and wakes up gently every time. She is crate trained and does well on a leash, though she can get the zoomies and is very strong, so she’ll need a confident handler. Because she can get a little rowdy during play (never aggressive), she would do best in a home with older children or no kids. A fenced yard or an active adopter who enjoys walks or runs would be ideal. Miss Nova is a loving, joyful girl who just needs the right home. She has an incredible heart, and we know her perfect family is out there!
