Nova's Story

We saved Nova in the fall minutes before she was scheduled to be euthanized. The shelter has been a little stressed for her but she has calmed down tremendously, when it’s quiet and she’s just with staff is so calm and cuddly. She’s about a year old and amazing dog. Hickory Hollow Animal Refuge's Adoption Policy

Vet reference, personal references and home check completed for each animal adopted. Once an application is processed adopter will be contacted to set up a meet and greet with the animal wanting to adopt. Our vetting includes spay/neuter, rabies and distemper parvo vaccines. We do not heartworm test dogs at this time.
