Nova's Story

Apply to Adopt Me!
This beautiful blue-eyed girl is Nova.

Nova is 4-year-old, 50-lb. Husky mix with all the husky personality traits and only half the husky hair.

Nova is hilariously talkative - she has plenty of opinions and isn’t shy about expressing them. After all, what are humans here for if not to shower her with affection? She loves hugs (yes, her tail will wag and she leans into them), kisses, and cuddles. Nova wants to be the center of her human’s universe and honestly won’t settle for less.

Nova loves going for walks/hikes, rolling around in the grass on a sunny day, and tagging along wherever the fun is. She rides wonderfully in the car, walks well on a leash, and is always ready for an adventure. At home she is calm and happy to just be wherever you are - whether that’s laying at your feet while you work or cuddling on the couch with you to watch some TV.

She is house trained and crate trained, and knows some basic commands. Nova is very smart and would thrive with a family who understands Husky-type breeds and their need for daily exercise, training, and mental stimulation.

Nova lives with cats in her foster home and does well with confident, dog-savvy cats. She would do best as an only dog or with a calm and confident canine companion.

Nova deserves a family who will give her the adventures, love, and happily-ever-after she was meant to have.

If you live in Central Florida and think you may be the perfect match for Nova, please complete an adoption application. She can't wait to meet her forever family!
