Meet Nova!<br/><br/>Nova’s story started in a heartbreaking way.<br/><br/>At just 4 years old, this little 8-lb Chihuahua mix ended up in the ER after getting into her owner’s drug stash. When she was checked in… her owners never came back.<br/><br/>She was left behind.<br/><br/>After that, Nova landed at the shelter where small “plain wrapped” Chihuahua mixes are often overlooked. Her future was uncertain… until a foster stepped up and brought her into Paw Squad 559.<br/><br/>And from day one, Nova has shown us what a special girl she is. <br/><br/>She bonds quickly to her person and just wants someone who will love her, protect her, and never leave her behind again.<br/><br/>• 4 years old<br/>• 8 lbs<br/>• Good with other small dogs<br/>• Does excellent on a potty schedule<br/>• Would easily learn to use a doggy door<br/>• Loves sunbathing and cozy naps <br/>• Would do best with older, well-mannered children or none in the home.
