Nova's Story
Meet Nova! With eyes as beautiful as a supernova, this sweet girl is ready to light up your life with love!

With Nova, you really do get the best of both worlds: She's either full of puppy energy, complete with hops, full body tail wags, and playful nibbles on hands, arms, elbows...anything close to her! Or she's snoring away on the couch or in her bed.

A typical day for Nova looks like this: wake up when her pawrents wake up, quick potty break (we love a potty-trained queen!), then her favorite meal of the day-BREAKFAST. After breakfast, it's time to hang with her family while they work from home. That usually means naps on her dog bed in between bouts of chewing on toys. After an early afternoon potty break and walk, it's back to chill time before.... DINNER! While her foster family eats, she is learning to politely stay on her pillow near them. What a good puppy! After dinner, it's PLAYTIME, when she enjoys responding to commands with treats as well as fetching toys.

When she's alone during the day, she is crated and does well - no separation anxiety out of this girlie. Nova is also currently in a home with a two-year-old and doing great. She even responds when her little human pal tells her to sit, so we know who runs the house here!

As for walks, Nova is a perfect ten on a leash. When she sees other dogs, she is friendly, showing interest and excitement to play, though if the other dog is uninterested, she's content to let them pass in peace. Their loss!

Nova does great in a car, and her favorite things are long ropes, nyla bones, plushies with squeaks, and a ball with her kibble inside for dispensing, which is how she consumes most of her meals. She really enjoys nudging the ball around to get her food.

If you can't tell by now, Nova is easily adaptable, making her a wonderful candidate for many homes. She will make an awesome family pet with her love of kids and her easy training abilities. We also suspect she would have a ball with another dog sibling for those looking to expand their furry family members.

Apply to adopt Nova today!
