Nova's Story

We saved Nova in 2022 from being euthanized at a local shelter due to space. At that time she was barely just a year old. Now Novie is 4 years old. Shes been waiting for her forever home for almost 4 years. We've had very few inquiries about adopting Nova; however, the interested parties weren't the ideal match. We want nothing more than our animals to be adopted but our priority is ensuring successful adoptions by aligning the right pet with the right family. The last thing we would want is for a dog to be returned, this sets them back so many steps and is so hard on them.
Nova would thrive as a single-dog household, but not entirely opposed to another dog with the right pairing and introduction. No cats or other small animals. She absolutely loves humans and is great with kids!
Shes healthy, loves daily walks and exploring but from our experience with her, a home with many stairs or steep climbing may not be the best fit for her long-term comfort. She also LOVES car rides and LOVES her toys! She’s also a huge cuddle bug and is more than happy to plop down on her bed and talk to you with her “grunts” while you give her pets and tell her what a good girl she is.

Please help us find Nova her forever home. She’s been waiting too long. 💔
