Nova's Story

My foster mom says I’m the definition of a "snuggle bug." I really love my humans and want to be your little shadow all day long. I’m a sensitive soul and a very good listener—I just want to make you happy!

I’ve been working really hard on my manners! Here’s what I’ve learned so far:

My Skills: I already know how to Sit! I also know what "Inside" and "Outside" mean.

In Progress: I’m currently practicing Up, Stay, and Down. I’m a fast learner, especially if there are treats involved!

Potty Training: My foster mom says I’m doing a great job with this!

Leash Walking: To be honest, I haven't practiced this much yet because the weather has been a bit icky, but I’m ready to try when it gets nice out.

My Friends & Family
Kids: I live with some very small human siblings right now. We are all learning together how to "play nice," and I really enjoy their company!

Cats: I’m very curious about feline friends. I live with three cats right now; the two older ones aren't quite sure about me yet, but the youngest one is my buddy!

Dogs: I don't have any dog siblings in my foster home right now, but I’m a sweet guy and would likely love a brother or sister with a slow introduction.

A Couple of Quirks
Crate Training: This is still a bit scary for me. I don’t like being away from my people and I might cry at night because I miss you. I’ll need a patient family to help me feel brave in my crate.

Storms: Big booms from the sky make me a little nervous. If it’s thundering, I’ll just need some extra cuddles and a safe place to hide with you.

If you’re looking for a loyal, "Velcro" puppy who will love you forever, I’m your boy! Can we be best friends?

If interested in adopting, please go to dalistotherescue.com/adopt and fill out a pre-adoption application.

For any questions, CALL (989) 463 9797.
