Nova's Story
Nova is a darling and sweet deaf old girl. Nova needs a means of confinement due to wandering off. Nova is not a very vocal dog but will sometimes "bay" and happily jump around to play with other animals, mostly when it comes to kittens and puppies. She enjoys leisure walks around the neighborhood and loves meeting people.

Potty-Trained: Yes
Behavior towards adults: Loves meeting new people
Behavior towards children: Good with kids, 7 is the youngest she has been around
Behavior towards other dogs: Enjoys playing with pups
Behavior towards cats: Does well with cats and kittens
Crate-trained: Yes
Stairs: Unknown
Medical Concerns & Medication:
Deaf. Nova has been on a daily probiotic and joint supplement in the past.

As a rescue organization, we provide all medical care, procedures, and testing that are available to us while the dog is in our care. Adopters are responsible for ongoing preventatives, follow-up veterinary appointments, and any medications as needed after adoption. In some cases, adopters may also be responsible for procedures not completed while in rescue, such as dental cleanings, additional bloodwork, or other recommended care.

Please note that we work with volunteer veterinarians and partner veterinary clinics, and protocols may vary between veterinary offices.

All adopted dogs will receive their rabies and distemper vaccinations prior to adoption.

We offer a $50 adoption fee discount for seniors (65+) and veterans. Adoption fees help offset the cost of veterinary exams, vaccinations (rabies and distemper), heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery (if needed), and any additional medical care specific to each individual dog.

At this time, Grey Face Rescue is unable to adopt outside of Minnesota. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We do not place animals in homes where current pets are not up to date on vaccinations or are not spayed/neutered. Exceptions may be considered for documented medical reasons as provided by a licensed veterinarian. Thank you for supporting our mission to reduce pet overpopulation.

Once your application has been submitted, our Adoption Manager will be in touch. Please be sure to check your spam or junk folder if you do not hear from us within 7-10 days.

Thank you for your interest in adopting a Grey Face senior. We truly appreciate your support.
