Nova's Story

Say hello to Nova! At just 1½ years old and 26 pounds, this small Siberian Husky girl is a perfect mix of beauty and brains. Her stunning blue eyes will stop you in your tracks—but it’s her loving personality that will truly win you over. She’s incredibly smart and thrives when she has a job to do. With sled dog or agility potential, she’d be an amazing match for someone who loves to bike, run, hike, or camp. She’s happiest when she’s active and part of the adventure!

She adores people and is working hard on keeping all four paws on the floor when she says hello (she just gets so excited!). She’s kennel/crate trained and doing great on her potty training as we fine-tune her routine.

She’s wonderful with other dogs, cats, and children—and she plays especially cute with her feline friends. While she can be a little timid at times, she blossoms quickly with reassurance and love.

She’ll need a home with a fenced yard to safely burn off energy but she is definitely an indoor dog for meals and at night. Bonus: she doesn’t have the typical thick Husky coat, so grooming is a breeze!

If you’re looking for an active, affectionate, blue-eyed adventure buddy, she’s your girl.

Nova has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped and ready for her forever home.

If you are interested in adopting Nova, please complete an application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
