Nova's Story

**Meet Nova Lea – Your Velcro Adventure Buddy!

Nova Lea is a 2-year-old pittie mix with a heart as big as her 78-pound frame. This sweet girl is the total package: playful, affectionate, goofy, and full of love to give. She might be a little shy when meeting new people, but give her a moment—and maybe a snack—and you’ll have a loyal shadow for life.

Nova is a true “velcro dog” who wants to be wherever you are. Whether you're exploring the great outdoors (her favorite!) or just hanging out at home, she’s happiest right by your side. She’s got a silly streak too—she’ll “talk back” to you in her own sassy way and knows a bunch of fun tricks like sit, stay, shake, down, and even high five!

She’s fantastic with kids of all ages (babies included!), gets along beautifully with other dogs, and is respectful with cats—especially those who aren’t bothered by a curious pup. Nova is both house-trained and crate-trained, walks politely on a leash, and is very food motivated (bonus: she LOVES fruits and veggies!).

While she’s not a fan of soft toys (they don't stand a chance), she’s happy to chomp on bones, hooves, and other durable chew toys. A fenced-in yard is a must for this nature-loving girl—she enjoys sniffing everything and needs space to explore safely.

Whether you’ve got a bustling household or a calm, quiet home, Nova will fit right in. She’s ready to find her forever family—could it be yours?
