Nova's Story
✨ Meet Nova ✨
2-Year-Old Merle Standard Poodle

Nova is a bright, beautiful girl who is finally getting the chance to experience life the way she always deserved. Rescued from a neglectful home, Nova spent a large portion of her early life kenneled—so she’s now enthusiastically making up for lost puppy time.

She is energetic, incredibly smart, and very food-motivated, making her a joy to train. Nova is currently working on basic commands and is eager to learn more with a family who will continue her training and provide structure. Despite her playful energy, once she settles, she becomes a big cuddle bug who loves being close to her people.

Nova loves kids, is dog friendly, and thrives on fun and engagement. She enjoys water, proudly gives high fives, and is a certified trampoline-jumping fool. She also loves toys, and because she never had the chance to be a puppy, she is still learning appropriate play—so toy supervision will be important as she continues working through puppy-like behaviors.

Due to her kennel background, Nova is exceptionally potty trained. Nova is unsure about cats, so a home with cats would need to be comfortable with slow, thoughtful introductions and continued supervision.

Nova is eager to learn, ready to bond, and looking for a family who understands that her energy and curiosity are part of her growth—not flaws. With patience, guidance, and love, she is going to be an incredible companion.

💙 If you’re ready to help Nova continue her journey and give her the life she’s been waiting for, she’s ready to meet you.
