She had a horrible start to life very early on. Because of this she needs a person(s) that will give her special attention, lots of patience, not force her into unfamiliar<br/>situations and let people know not to interact with her until she is ready. She needs to know they will<br/>not abuse her. Nova is not a dog for everyone – she needs a very special kind of understanding<br/>human(s).<br/><br/>She needs:<br/>• Consistency with <positive reinforcement> training and routine<br/>• Time to adapt to new situations/things/people – all must be taken slowly<br/>• Needs to be on leash when meeting new people, letting her use her nose to smell people from a distance.<br/>• Due to her excitement level needs slow intro to other dogs<br/>• Child-free environment<br/><br/>She is:<br/>• Medium-high energy level<br/>• Dog friendly<br/>• Improving meeting new people<br/>Once you bond with Nova she will be your best friend. She is very loyal and she will let you do anything to her once she trusts you. You will have a very faithful companion. When she gets past her<br/>fears she knows her commands and she walks well on a leash.
