Nova is friendly with people, gentle with children, and good with dogs of all sizes. She has a good temperament and lots of love to give. Nova is doing very well in her foster home and ready for her forever home. Nova started some leash training and is learning at a good pace. She is crate-trained and doing well on her housetraining. She rides well in the car and can wait patiently while her foster mom runs errands. Nova is a wonderful dog and will be a good family dog!

NOVA’s Rescue Story

Poor Nova was living as a stray dog. She got pregnant and gave birth to 4 beautiful pups, Nora, Nordon, Norton, and Norson. Nova is a very good mama dog and found shelter in an abandoned house and hid her pups there. They were rescued by a volunteer of a TNR rescue group. TNR groups specialize in getting stray animals spayed and neutered and the animals are returned to their original location to live as homeless dogs. TNR programs help with the overpopulation of unwanted animals. The volunteer reached out to an experienced international rescue organization to help with them and some other puppies that are still too young to be released back to the streets. The founder of the rescue organization has over 180 dogs waiting for homes. However, she could not bear to see them going back to the mountain and suffer on the streets. She agreed to take Nova and her puppies home and give them a chance in life.

Nova had a thorough medical checkup. She has been spayed, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on her blood tests. Please give Nova a loving home to grow up.

Please watch NOVA’s YouTube videos below:
https://youtu.be/yXfaLetmm8g - Lil Lili Lilia Liliane Nova training
https://youtu.be/y0Ua-8CR-Uk - The rescue of Nova and her 4 pups Nora Nordon Norson Norton
https://youtu.be/Waipq-i8U8U - Nova no food aggression
https://youtu.be/LKpVnnGAexA - Nova good with cats
https://youtu.be/h-UeymOHe5k - Nova off leash hiking
https://youtu.be/Q6a3jmNK63Q - Nova good with a child
https://youtu.be/4rADxlB2CMc - Nova & Lil walking
https://youtu.be/LKAy3o5bU6A - Nova at vet checkup

If you would like to give Nova a forever home, please go to www.adoptadoggie.org to fill out an online application with your home photos.
You can also email your home environment photos to contact@adoptadoggie.org
Once we received your application, we will get back to you ASAP.

Adopt a Doggie Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Adopt-a-Doggie/312107112299799

Temperament:
Energy Level: Medium
Ideal home environment: Both Quiet & Active
Is the dog good with strangers: Friendly
The dog is best with children of what age group?
