Nova's Story
November 14, 2023 We rescued Nova from the freeway median after people thought she was dead. CHP and animal control was called over a week. She was hit by a car starving there dying. She was skin and bones. When we saw the post we begged CHP to break traffic. We told them we'd be fast. He said she was dead. Then he saw her lift her head up. Then we were able to rescue her. Poor girl was terrified and used all her energy to resist. She pooped and peed herself. But we got her. She had anaplasmosis, coccidia, and giardia from years of neglect. Then twice small fractures on pelvis and femur from being hit.She healed up and has been ready for a while.

She's 3-4 year old German shepherd with high energy who loves to talk. She gets along with other dogs.
