NOVA's Story
Meet NOVA! She is a 41#, 11-month-old (DOB 02/14/2025), PitBull girl who is the life of the party! Her white and brindle coat is stunning!

***PITBULL TERRIER EXPERIENCE PREFERRED***

Nova loves to be petted, scratched, and can be somewhat shy at first meeting. She warms up quickly with calm voices, and slow movements. She is loving, sweet, smart, and wants to please. Nova loaded up nicely, and rode well in the van. She is a great companion, and family dog. We learned from her foster that she does prefer women, and we have found that to be the case at our facility. Some of our great men volunteers have been siting with her to help her get over her fear of men. She is doing better! She loves to experience yard play, fetch, playing with toys, and is doing great with her leash manners and basic commands.

Information from Nova's foster said she did very well with her five and six year old boys, and sent videos of her calmly playing with them. She did well with the medium sized dogs in foster, however cats are a no go for this girl. She does have a prey drive, so not cats or small animals is recommended. A securely fenced yard is required to keep her safe and happy, and we do recommend supervised yard until she is comfortable in her new surroundings.

If you have any other questions, email is the best method of communication. We are 100% volunteer-run and operated and are open by appointment only. Please send us an email or submit an application if you'd like to make an appointment we'll be in touch as soon as we can!
