Nova's Story

Meet Nova!

Nova is a 2.5-year-old with a heart as big as her playful spirit. She was found abandoned in a big city, left to face the world on her own, but her sweet nature has never wavered. Despite her difficult start, Nova has a joyful, loving personality that shines through every wag of her tail and every eager nuzzle.

Nova adores people and has a special way of making everyone feel loved and welcome. She gets along well with other dogs and has a gentle, playful energy that makes her a wonderful companion for older kids. She thrives on affection, attention, and the chance to be part of a family that will give her the security and love she’s been missing.

Since arriving in her foster home, Nova has been adjusting nicely. She is becoming more comfortable with her surroundings every day. Nova is crate trained and loves her safe space, enjoys being outside, and is delightfully silly in the snow. She’s devoted to her fosters and follows their lead, stopping when they stop on walks and doing well on leash. She knows sit and lay down, and while she’s learning paw, she often prefers to just flop down instead.

Nova is looking for a home that will embrace her playful, loving spirit and reward her resilience with endless snuggles, belly rubs, and adventures. She’s ready to show the world that even after being abandoned, love, loyalty, and joy are never out of reach. Could you be the family to give Nova the second chance she deserves?
