Norse's Story

Norse is a certified oversized baby who is absolutely convinced he's a lap dog. He's currently living with other dogs in foster and thinks everyone is his friend, with no reactivity or resource guarding showing up in their time together. His energy is that perfect middle ground: happy to go for a walk, happier to turn into a snuggly couch ornament afterward.<br/> <br/>He walks nicely on leash, does well in a crate, and is very food motivated, which makes him both fun and easy to train. Because he believes dinner should be inhaled, a slow feeder is recommended for this enthusiastic eater. Norse is also delightfully clumsy and may bop into things (or people) when he's being goofy, so a home that can manage his size-especially around little kids-will help him shine. If you're looking for a big, silly, ridiculously loving best friend to share your couch and your snacks, Norse is your guy

Renegade Paws Rescue's Adoption Policy

Completing the online application is the first step and will provide us with the initial information we need but does not obligate you in any way. We prioritize applicants in the Savannah area but we do adopt out-of-state. Applicants must be 21 and older. We do not offer transport or long distance adoptions. Once your application has been approved, we will schedule a meet and greet. The adoption fees help cover the medical, transport, supply, and other animal expenses associated with rescuing our animals. The expenses for each rescued animal almost always exceed our adoption fee for them. Please note that adoption fees are not tax-deductible or refundable. Our adoption fees: Dogs and puppies $325 Senior $150 What is included in your adoption? All dogs are microchipped with lifetime registration, spayed or neutered, as well as all vaccinations needed as part of the adoption fee. This includes bordetella vaccination (kennel cough), DA2PP vaccinations, and rabies vaccination. They also get heartworm tested, heartworm preventative and flea treatment.
