Nora's Story
Meet Nora! She is a 5-year-old, 9 pound chihuahua mix. Nora is a gentle soul with a heart as big as her beautiful eyes. She’s a bit shy at first — the world can feel like a big, scary place to her — but with a patient and understanding person, she blossoms into the sweetest, snuggliest companion you could ask for. This lovely girl is working on crate training, is potty trained, and knows her basic commands. She’s also incredibly food motivated, which makes continued training easy and fun. Whether it’s treats or praise, Nora is always eager to learn. Her favorite activities include curling up next to you for a good cuddle, quietly observing her surroundings, and of course — snack time! Nora would do best in a calm, stable home with patient adopters who can give her the time and space she needs to come out of her shell. Once she trusts you, she’ll be your little shadow — full of love, loyalty, and gratitude. If you’re looking for a soft-hearted companion who just needs a little extra time to shine, Nora might be your perfect match. She would do best in a home as the only dog, or other small dogs her size. She does well with all humans after she feels safe, however young children will likely be too much for her. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $300.
