Nora's Story

Nora

Meet Nora! This adorable 3-year-old, 51-pound Pit mix is a deaf little lovebug who just wants to be wherever her people are.

Nora is spayed, dog-friendly, and full of personality! She absolutely LOVES her dog friends, although she can get a little carried away with her playtime . The good news? She takes correction from other pups really well and is learning those doggy manners!

She's currently working hard on her potty training and crate training, and she's making progress.

One thing you should know about our girl: Nora is deaf, and apparently she has NO idea how loud she is. When she wants out of her crate, she will bark to let you know—and because she can't hear herself, she is basically the star of her own dramatic production. She has some opinions, and she is NOT afraid to share them!

Nora has met children at adoption events and has done wonderfully! Because she doesn't always realize just how big and enthusiastic she is, we think older children may be the best fit for her.

Cats? She hasn't met any yet, so that's still an unknown.

What Nora does know is that she loves her people. She wants to be near you, hang out with you, and soak up all the love she can get. Being deaf doesn't slow this girl down one bit—she's a happy, goofy, affectionate pup looking for her forever family!

If you're looking for a 51-pound, snuggly, goofy, slightly dramatic best friend with a whole lot of love to give, Nora might just be your girl!
(41)
