Nora's Story

Nora is a 10‐month‐old cream and white speckled Cattle Dog mix whose gentle presence makes her easy for almost anyone to handle. At about 40-45 pounds, she's fully housebroken, crate trained, and has an intelligence that shines through in everything she does. Though a little shy at first, Nora warms up quickly with a soft introduction, and once she does, she becomes a steady, affectionate companion who enjoys being near her people.

What makes Nora truly special is her blend of sensitivity and confidence. She has an average energy level--playful and joyful without being overwhelming. When she gets into something she shouldn't, she redirects beautifully to her toys, showing how eager she is to learn. Nora is good with other dogs her size but can also thrive as the only dog in the home. She seems fine with kids, has done especially well with junior volunteers, and she travels comfortably in the car, making her easy to take along on errands or weekend outings.

Nora is the kind of dog who doesn't bark without a reason and seems comfortable in either an apartment or a house. She walks nicely on a leash, loves being around people, and offers a calm, thoughtful companionship that feels rare in a young dog. Nora is affectionate in a heartfelt, steady way--the sort of dog who won't demand the spotlight but will make every day brighter for the person who sees how special she truly is.
Interested in meeting Nora?
Call or text her foster mom, Liz, at 214-616-6128

Or apply now:
https://www.shelter2rescue.org/adoptable-pets

Nora is ready to find her forever home--could it be yours?
