Noodle's Story

Looking for a fun, active, and affectionate dog to add to your family? Noodle is a 2-year-old lab and collie mix who's ready to bring joy, laughter, and a lot of zoomies to your home! Whether she's racing around the yard or darting after her favorite stuffed animal, this girl's got serious speed. She's also super quick to make laps around the yard and is always ready for a fun game of chase with her dog pals.

But don't let her speed fool youNoodle's a big softie at heart. She loves being around her people and is a true shadow. Wherever you go, Noodle will be there, tail wagging and ready to snuggle. Couch cuddles are her absolute favorite, and she'll happily curl up with you for some quality bonding time.

In her foster home, Noodle gets along beautifully with the other dogscurrently living with three resident dogs and rotating through several others. She's especially fond of dogs who share her love for playtime! As much as she enjoys her dog friends, Noodle does need a furry companion in her forever home to help her feel comfortable and confident. Her best friend is a dog that's outgoing and friendly, especially when meeting new people. With her dog buddy by her side, Noodle gains the confidence to greet new faces with a wag and a bark!

A little shy with new people? Yep, that's Noodle. She may bark at first, but it's all a bit of an actshe just needs time to warm up and trust. Once she sees that her dog friends are comfortable with new faces, she follows their lead and opens up.

Due to her love for zoomies and her need for a secure space, Noodle's new home must have a fenced-in yard where she can run and play to her heart's content. She's also made huge strides in her leash reactivity, and she now does well on walks in her neighborhood, though she may still need a little redirection if she feels nervous.

If you're looking for a sweet, speedy, snuggly companion who'll brighten your days and always keep you on your toes with her zoomies, Noodle is the girl for you. She's got so much love to give, and with the right dog buddy and a fenced yard to run in, she'll be the perfect addition to your family!

Adoption fee is $375 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, fecal/deworming, vaccines and prevention up to date. Ohio residents only.

STS is a foster-based and volunteer-run rescue. We do not have a physical location or set hours for you to meet dogs, and it does take time to answer each inquiry. All dogs are in foster homes and once an application is approved and a home visit is completed you will be able to schedule meet and greets with available dogs. We encourage interested individuals to get approved prior to searching as it helps expedite the process. A Petfinder inquiry is not a substitute for an application.
